I had a truly memorable stay at a lovely homestay in Lumbini. The family who runs the lodge were incredibly hospitable and made sure I felt at home. They even organized a tour of the Buddhist sites in the area and helped arrange my travel to Bardia. Despite a lack of hot water during my stay, I highly recommend choosing this homestay for a visit to Lumbini. I would recommend this hotel for its warm hospitality and convenient location.

The hotel also provided hot water upon request, ensuring I had a pleasant and refreshing shower experience.

Such a charming place, with lovely balconies and a garden for parking. The towels were a nice touch, I felt like I was in a luxury spa. The continental breakfast was so continental, it made me feel like a true world traveler.
And the icing on the cake was the mosquito buffet that kept me up all night. Truly an experience to remember.

I had a wonderful stay at Lumbini Village Lodge for 4 days while exploring the birthplace of Buddha. Mr Jupiter and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The personal attention from the host's family was exceptional, especially from the well-traveled couple who were a joy to talk to. They even helped me book my onward bus ticket to Pokhara. The accommodation had an authentic vibe and there were plenty of communal spaces to meet other travelers. The location was great, just a short walk to the Lumbini Development Zone with many options for dining and souvenir shopping. The hotel also had a charming handcraft shop next door.
Strongly recommend this hotel.

We had a fantastic experience at Lumbini Village Lodge. the owner and staff were extremely helpful and went above and beyond to assist us. They even helped us with our luggage and dropped it off at the bus stop when we were leaving. the location was perfect, just a short walk to the Mahadevi Temple and close to restaurants and tea shops. the staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and the owner arranged a fantastic tour for us to Kapilavastu and some lesser-known sites. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and we enjoyed delicious breakfasts on the terrace. the lodge also had a shop with beautiful handmade items. All of this for an affordable price!
Couldn't stay longer 😔.
